Spirit of the mountains made of rock, shadow, and light. Her paws poised on pulses. Her sapphire eyes burn bright. Heart beating slowly, Mind thinking fast, Her patience is holy. The fragile world, vast. Panthera pardus, our eternal guardian protecting the mountains of a damaged heart again.
The 24 x 30” original painting is ready-to-hang and protected with a layer of varnish. The creation process consisted of starting with a layer of charcoal and acrylic inks, followed by acrylic paints to map out the composition and values. I finished with oil paints to bring out the juiciness of the colors and give the painting a sense of depth. It is the perfect painting to add some color to your living space or give as a thoughtful gift.
