In this life, we experience light. We experience darkness. And just like the moon, we go through phases of everything in between. But we must remember that although we may not appear with the same brightness, we are always whole.

This original painting was inspired by a moonlit night on Lake George, when the moon peaked over the mountains in all its glory. It was big, it was bright, and it’s reflection danced across the water. I wanted to capture the magic and pair it with one of my favorite views of the lake: looking north toward the narrows and the tongue mountain range!

Using multi-media techniques, this painting was created with inks, acrylics, oil paint, and gold leaf foil.

Though the Original Painting has sold, prints are available! Poster prints are 23 x 23” (the same size as the original). Canvas prints are 20 x 20”. There is an option to order a large canvas print that is the same size as the original with hand embellishments added to give it an original painting’s touch!

Canvas prints are available upon request! Please allow up to 2 weeks for the print shop to work its magic before shipping! At least another two weeks should be added with hand-embellished prints to ensure that they will be safely varnished and cured before shipping.
